Chapel Down Tenterden Estate Bacchus Reserve 2010 - 6 Bottles

This is a single vineyard wine from mature Bacchus vines that express the terrior of the Weald Clay soils at the Tenterden vineyard.

The grapes were hand harvested, carefully whole-bunch pressed, and fermented with selected yeasts in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks to produce a wine of purity, concentration and finesse.
On the nose this Bacchus shows aromas of grapefruit, gooseberry, nettle, and pear as well as a subtle gunflint character. The palate is crisp and dry with grapefruit, apricot and gooseberry characters and a fresh, clean finish. 11.5% abv

Single Bottle Price £13.99

Tasting Notes Tenterden Bacchus will suit white meats and fish. Try with grilled chicken salad and lemon dressing. Comparable to a Sancerre (Sauvignon Blanc from the Loire Valley)
