by Chapel Down 15 May 2023

We are delighted to share the news that Chapel Down will feature in this year’s Sunday Times’ ‘Best Places to Work’ list.

This is a really proud moment for us, as it underscores our commitment to our core value to “Deliver Together” by championing people as individuals, embracing differences and supporting one another.

We were particularly pleased to see that our team reported a high level of happiness at work, confidence in management and pride for working at Chapel Down.

In the last 12 months we have introduced benefits such as a company bonus scheme, enhanced family leave and an Employee Assistance Programme. It has been a real pleasure to watch our sense of “togetherness” improve thanks to the new systems we’ve put in place and our regular company socials. We have put a Wellbeing framework in place to protect, provide for and promote the individual needs of our team. Steps have also been taken to ensure that all team members have the resources they need to succeed in their careers, supported by a Personal Development Review process. We will continue to invest in our greatest asset – our people.

It’s our priority to develop a passionate team of people and foster a culture that brings both company and personal successes. Our mission is clear: we want to change the way the world thinks about English Wine forever, and it’s so important to us that every member of our team knows the vital role they are playing in our growth plans.

This is the perfect opportunity for us to thank our fantastic team, who consistently “deliver together”, whether their role is to grow our world-class grapes, produce our exceptional wines or support the process of getting our products to our customers.

It’s such an exciting time for English wine, and we can’t wait to see where the journey takes us all next.
