Today we published our full year results. We saw significant strong progress and growth in revenue, margin expansion and full year adjusted EBITDA.
Following the sale of the beer business, Chapel Down is completely focused on being the number one winemaker in the UK. Our wine and spirits business enjoyed record revenues, selling over 1.5m bottles of wine. Our wine sales volumes increased 17% with sparkling wine volumes up 39%, reflecting the growing demand for our award-winning wines and the strength of our brand.
We also saw strong growth across all of our trade channels. Direct-to-Consumer E-commerce revenue grew 30%, while Off-Trade wine sales revenue grew 23%. We gained new customers including Tesco and existing customers such as Waitrose, Marks & Spencer, J Sainsbury and Majestic saw strong demand.
Our premium wines also received industry recognition, with a Platinum medal for our Rosé Brut NV and Gold for Kit’s Coty Coeur de Cuvée 2015 and Kit’s Coty Bacchus 2019 at the Decanter World Wine 2021 Awards.
Looking forward, we have a strong position for growth. We have the Number 1 English wine brand, the broadest scale of distribution, 750 acres of vineyards that will be fully productive for 2023 and future plans for vineyard expansion and the development of a new winery in 2024. We have a clear strategic roadmap to deliver our ambition to double the size of our business by 2026.
English wine is thriving, and the market continues to grow at a rapid pace. I am very proud of the progress we are making and of what our team have achieved so far.
We have exciting times ahead and I look forward to updating you on our plans.
