KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER

We are looking for a highly motivated Key Account Manager to join our talented sales team. This is an exciting and rare opportunity to join this dynamic and exciting UK-based drinks company. We are looking for someone with excellent communication and organisational skills, and the ability to work well as part of a team.


The role of Key Account Manager is to maximise sales opportunities for Chapel Down’s portfolio of wine, spirits, beer and cider with route-to-market partners and managed groups.


With an attractive benefits package, including competitive salary, performance-related bonus scheme, company car and staff discounts, successful candidates should have at least two years experience in a Key Account Manager role and experience within the drinks industry, ideally to a WSET or Cicerone qualification level.

CUSTOMER SERVICE EXECUTIVE – MATERNITY COVER

Chapel Down, England’s leading wine producer, is recruiting for a Customer Service Executive, maternity cover to join our busy and rapidly growing team in Ashford.


Reporting to the sales administration manager, the successful applicant will:

• Process all manner of trade and retail sales orders, from order-capturing through to the despatch and delivery

• Help answer busy phone lines, take orders and direct calls effectively

• Organise transport for orders and plan delivery routes

• Communicate efficiently with customers, colleagues and transport suppliers

• Provide support to our wider sales team

• Conduct weekly outbound customer care calls to our trade accounts.


The successful applicant should have: • A good understanding of what excellent customer service is and how to provide it • A friendly and professional telephone manner • The ability to work well under pressure to meet daily deadlines • Good IT skills.


A basic knowledge of wine and beer is not essential but enjoyment of them certainly helps!
