Availability: In stock

Union Red is a Pinot Noir dominant blend with additional Early Pinot Noir, Rondo and Dornfelder used to achieve perfect balance from England's terroir.

The grapes were grown in Kent and Sussex, on Wealden clay and chalk soils. This is not a heavy red wine, but it is a style which shows the freshness and immediacy of fruit character that England's unique cool grape growing climate conditions provide.

Tasting Notes

Fresh aromas of redcurrant and cherry can be found with background notes of gently toasted oak. Flavours of bramble jelly and floral violets with smooth tannins leading to a rounded finish.

A great alternative to a Fleurie (or other Beaujolais) and light Burgundy.

Sourced from vineyards in Kent and Sussex.
Ideal for pairing with duck or game.

Drink now until 2018.
