I'm a new shareholder, how do I receive my benefits?

If you have purchased shares via Aquis Stock Exchange or a nominee account, in order to receive your shareholder benefits we require you to please send proof of your shareholding (as we will not automatically receive your details). Please download a copy of our shareholder benefits sign up form below then post or email the completed form and a copy of your Contract Note or Share Certificate, along with your postal address and email address.

(NB: This is not required to be completed by Seedrs shareholders) 

You will then be added to our shareholder database and will receive a shareholder welcome pack by email which will include the details of your shareholder benefits including how to set up an online account.

On receipt of your welcome pack you will be able to claim your benefits at the Winery and to make purchases using your discounts on this website.

I am a Gold/Platinum Shareholder, how do I set up my online account?

New shareholders will be set up with an online account as
part of the welcome process. 

If you are an existing shareholder without a shareholder account on our website or are unable to access your account please email with your details and shareholder number and the team will advise you.

Once logged in to as a shareholder you will view products at your shareholder price (where applicable) and add them to your basket in the usual way. 

Product discounts for Chapel Down Gold and Platinum Shareholders are as follows: 

• Still and Sparkling Wines - 33% discount 

• Spirits - 10% discount 

• Great Minds Drink Alike Products - 10% discount 

Please note that we do not provide discount on our Gift
Boxed items due to the packaging & delivery costs associated with these
items. The products effected have this stated in their description.

These percentage discounts are applied to the full retail price of the individual product or mixed case and are not in conjunction with any other offer or discount. Discounts can be subject to change at short notice. 

I am a Silver Shareholder, how do I claim my 25% off single use annual discount?

As a Silver Shareholder you will hold between 500 and 199 shares. You will have received a single use code as part of your welcome pack which can be applied at the Checkout of our website once logged in to your shareholder account. Your voucher can also be redeemed at the Winery shop. See your welcome pack for more details.

How do I claim my shareholder benefits in the Winery shop?

We are no longer issuing physical shareholder privilege cards. Please mention to the staff at the till that you are a Chapel Down Shareholder and, if possible, whether you are a Silver, Gold or Platinum shareholder. A staff member will then ask for your full name, your postcode and your shareholder number and they will locate you on our shareholder database.
You may be asked for proof of ID which displays your name (such as a bank card or driver’s licence). See your welcome pack for more details.

How do I book a Guided Tour?

All shareholders are welcome to visit the Winery and join a scheduled guided tour. Gold and Platinum Shareholders are entitled to a complimentary guided tour and tutored wine tasting for the shareholder and one guest. This is an annual entitlement.

Each shareholder will be issued with a unique code as part of their welcome pack, this can be redeemed against a tour purchase online or by phone. See your welcome pack for more details.

How can I make a reservation at The Swan?

Please book a table at The Swan direct by calling the team on 01580 761616 quoting Chapel Down Shareholder Discount and your shareholder number. Certain dates will be excluded and discount is not in conjunction with any other offer or special event.

Max table size of 4 people, shareholder must be present. All shareholders are welcome to dine at The Swan, shareholder discount is available to Gold and Platinum shareholders only. See
your welcome pack for more details.

How do I update my details?

Please advise us via if your contact details change, we are not currently able to pick up any address changes from your online account and apply them to our shareholder list.

You will also need to advise the Share Registrar and / or the nominee account where your shares are held this will ensure that our shareholder list remains up to date and is particularly important when receiving our Annual Report (direct shareholders only).  

As email is our primary means of email it’s important that we are kept up to date of any changes, the email address that we use to communicate with you should ideally be the same email address that you have registered with the share registrar, Seedrs or any other nominee or broker. Thank you.

Please also let us know if you move your shares or change the amount of shares you hold as this may affect your eligibility for certain benefits.

What happens if I sell my shares?

If you choose to sell your shares please advise us by emailing
Shareholder benefits will cease immediately when shares are sold.

Can I still use my Shareholder Privilege Card?

Shareholder privilege cards issued prior to August 2021 are no longer valid. All eligible shareholders should have received a new shareholder number and benefits category (Silver/Gold/Platinum) by email.

Can I use my shareholder discounts to make a purchase at a partner retailer, venue or supermarket?

Shareholder benefits are only available via and
when visiting our Winery in Tenterden. However, on occasions we do collaborate with other organisations on exclusive offers for our shareholders and these will be communicated by email on an ad-hoc basis.

Does my shareholder discount apply to delivery charges?

No. Shareholder discount applies to wine, spirits and mixed cases depending on the amount of shares held in Chapel Down Group plc shareholder discount does not apply to delivery charges.

What are the Terms & Conditions relating to shareholder benefits?

All offers are subject to availability.

Shareholder discounts cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer / case price promotion. Shareholder benefits are valid only whilst you remain a shareholder. The benefits of your shareholding are exclusive to you and cannot be transferred to friends or family. 

We reserve the right to ask you for proof of identity and shareholder purchases will be checked against our database of current shareholders. Please make a note of your unique shareholder number.

Products purchased using shareholder discount should be for personal consumption only and not for resale. If you are interested in becoming a Trade Customer please talk to us, trade customers benefit from trade prices, credit terms, sales support and promotional material. 

Shareholder benefits are not applicable to those investing through investment clubs or groups. 

If a company wishes to invest shareholder benefits can only be issued to a named individual from that company. The individual must be named on the Share Certificate/Contract Note in addition to the company name. 

Shares can be purchased in joint names by couples living at the same address if both names are shown on the proof of shareholding; we will treat this as joint ownership and one shareholder number will be allocated per couple. 

Shareholder benefits cannot be offered to two or more friends purchasing shares under joint names. 

The beneficial shareholder is the person(s) named on the Share Certificate or Contract Note. Chapel Down cannot amend these details unless we receive written proof of a change of ownership. 

Shares can be held in an ISA, SIPP personal pension or nominee account as long as we receive proof of shareholding from the individual or their representative. 

Shareholder benefits are only available when purchasing products directly from Chapel Down, via our shop, mail order service or website. 

Annual benefits such as guided tour codes will be issued once a year by email for all eligible shareholders with 2000 or more shares. 

Guided Tour vouchers can be redeemed at The Chapel Down Winery only. 

Please keep us updated if your contact details change and don't forget to provide us with an email address so that we can keep you updated with news and offers from Chapel Down. We will never pass your details on to any third party.
