Chapel Down is located in the beautiful Kent countryside, close to the picturesque market town of Tenterden. The Winery is currently closed due to National lockdown we hope to welcome visitors again soon.
Guided tours include a visit to the Chapel Down vineyards and winery, followed by a tutored tasting of our award-winning range of sparkling and still wines. Each tour takes approximately 1hr 45mins. Booking in advance is recommended, you can now book online up to one month in advance..

Whether you are visiting, with family or as a larger group, we can help create the perfect day out. We offer a number of visitor experiences, from guided tours and wine tastings, to packages that include a three course lunch. We can also create a bespoke gift package just for you.

Our Winery Store stocks the full range of Chapel Down wines, including some ‘cellar door’ exclusives. You will also find our range of Curious beers and cider together with a comprehensive range of high quality English produce and gifts from carefully selected suppliers. Unfortunately the Winery store is closed due to National lockdown.
The Swan Restaurant
We have a two AA Rosette and Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurant specialising in modern British cuisine and locally sourced seasonable produce.
The 80-cover restaurant boasts a private dining Chef’s Table and outdoor terrace with spectacular views across the county which is a perfect setting to enjoy drinks before or after your meal. Sadly, due to Covid 19, this is currently closed, please visit The Swan's website for up to date customer information including their Click & Collect service.
Our Vineyards & Herb Gardens
Explore our beautiful Vineyards and Herb Garden. Pick up a vineyard trails map from the shop and take yourself off around the two walking routes through the Bacchus vineyard and beyond. There is no access to our outdoor spaces currently due to National lockdown.
